Morning Tea

Castile

He leads the way into the cafe and to a table pulling out a chair for Akira to sit. "I'll get our tea. What kind would you like?"

Akira entered the cafe with Castile, the warm smell of sweets and tea filling her nostrils. She took the seat that Castile pulled out for her and sat down, then looked up to him and smiled. "Earl gray please," she replied, then her eyes looked over to the display case filled with cookies and desserts and she lit up, "And some cookies too please!" She exclaimed, then looked a little embarrassed, shifting her gaze to the side.

Castile

He smiles glancing at the sweets. "What kinds of cookies do you like?"

Akira put a finger to her cheek, looking deep in thought, "Hmm.." She mumbled to herself, then looked back at Castile. "Anything would be good." She nodded.

Castile

He goes to the counter and orders two cups of earl gray tea and a plate of chocolate chip cookies. He comes back and places them on a table. He sits across from Akira. "So..."

She smiled and picked the cup up as he put it down on the table. "Thanks" she smiled, and brought it up to her mouth, blowing on it to cool it down. The aroma from the tea hung in the air, making Akira feel relaxed as she felt the cup warming her hands up. She took a small sip and put it back down, looking back up to Castile. "Thanks. For everything. I feel more calm than I have ever been lately."

Castile

He smiles at the girl sitting across from him and takes a sip of his tea. He drinks his tea in an odd way. Other people would pick up the cup by the handle but he prefers to grab the top of the cup. "I like to help sometimes. Being a demon, everyone just thinks I'm here to hurt people."

She smiled. "I know that feeling. Vampires aren't looked at so nicely." Akira said, looking out the window then turning back to him, "but I don't blame them.." She looked down, at her tea, like she was recalling a memory, "most of them are just either cocky, or cold hearted, and like to see people suffer..." Her voice trailed off, like she wasn't paying attention anymore.

He looked at the girl curiously. "Akira?" He tries to avoid eye contact recalling some terrible memories himself but he pushes them aside.

"Hm?" She popped her head back up, "Oh, sorry." She smiled, wrapping her hand around the cup to feel the warmth again.

"It's fine." He stares down into his cup. "So... Destiny doesn't like me much does she?"

"Destiny's like that to pretty much everyone, please don't take it personally." Akira smiled, "She has a hard time trusting people. Even when she's scared, she puts on a face like that.." She pictured her in her head acting like a small child, which made her laugh a little under her breath. "Destiny's a little .. overprotective of me too.." She looked back up to him, still smiling.

"I'd be protective of you too." He mumbles and looks up sharply praying to the lord he didnt believe in for her not to have heard. "Ah... Kagame is just shy. like really shy."

Akira, being so naive, just smiled. "Oh, I've noticed. I'm sure we can get him out of his shell~" She nodded, mischievously planning.

He chuckled at her words. "Kagame? he would just run away from you."

Akira pouted. "Aww.. that's true.." she grumbled, then smiled again. "Still I hope we can all be friends though."

"he'll eventually warm up to you. its just the way he is." He smiles at her and picks up a cookie and dipping it in his tea.

"True, it's only the beginning of the school year." She agreed, lifting the cup filled with her aromatic tea that her hand had been holding on to through the whole conversation, that has now gone from hot to slightly warm, bringing it to her lips, and sipping up the rest of it's contents, then putting it back down gently on the table.

(OOC: I FELT SO WEIRD WRITING THAT LIKE IT'S ONE WHOLE SENTENCE WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME LOL)

"well i think we should be getting back to school." He stands up and offers her his hand to help her up.

Akira nods, hesitantly taking his hand. "Oh, yes." She replied, noticing the time.

He pulls her up and smiles. "Would you like to come to my dorm later and play video games or something? uhm... if you like video games..." He fights the urge to blush.

Her eyes lit up when he mentioned 'video games'. "V-Video games?! Yeah! sure!" She exclaimed, excitedly bouncing around. Realizing how much of a dork she was she stopped, scratching her head. "I mean uh, yeah, sure." Akira looked at him, smiling.

He smiled down at her happy that she would like to play games with him. He grabs a napkin off the table and pulls out a pen scribbling down his dorm number. He hands her the napkin. "That's my dorm number. Kagame will probably be there as well, but then again he always is."

Akira picked up the napkin, and they left the cafe.
